Morning drive poem

Charcoal car clamoring for street-side entrance
driver fueled by Caribou.
Two days this week
two days this week
two
days
this
week
you’ve cut me off
on our commute.
Your jangled nerves
your burning tongue–
may your morning jolt
of liquid speed
propel you.
